Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

it's getting chilly now

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Warm spice · code BL-3263

Spicy grass, orange and cinnamon; warm from your nose to your belly.

It's getting chilly out there: ginger grass leads with a warm, spicy lemongrass-ginger aroma, sweet orange is fresh and cheerful, and cinnamon bark warms you from your nose down to your belly. Great for the kitchen, living room or bedroom in early winter. Start the diffuser while you brew ginger tea; for a softer scent in a small room, cut ginger grass to two drops.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ginger grass (warm and grassy, slightly spicy with a sweet root note); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
