who knew coriander could chill

2 oils · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-0329

Who knew coriander and sandalwood would get along so well? Sandalwood leads with smooth, warm, creamy wood, and coriander adds a spicy-sweet, slightly warm note like toasted spices. The scent is deep, unusual and layered, perfect for a wood-toned living room or a work corner in the evening. A mini diffuser needs just the recipe; for more spice, raise coriander to 3 drops and use intermittent mode.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Coriander (warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Sandalwood 4 · Coriander 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Sandalwood 3 · Coriander 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Sandalwood 20 · Coriander 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use who knew coriander could chill in a diffuser?
Add Sandalwood 4 · Coriander 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sandalwood?
Swap sandalwood for cedarwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use who knew coriander could chill?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
