just a bit bougie

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · Warm spice · code BL-1884

Smooth, warm sandalwood forms the base, fresh, zesty lime rises up, then coriander seed sprinkles a surprising sweet spice that makes people ask what you're wearing. Unusual yet pleasant, exactly the spirit of catching someone off guard. Great in a roller bottle for an evening date. Mix the nine drops in a 10 ml bottle; cut coriander to one drop if you want a softer, more familiar scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Coriander (warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Sandalwood 4 · Lime 3 · Coriander 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Sandalwood 2 · Lime 2 · Coriander 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Sandalwood 13 · Lime 10 · Coriander 7 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use just a bit bougie in a diffuser?
Add Sandalwood 4 · Lime 3 · Coriander 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sandalwood?
Swap sandalwood for cedarwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use just a bit bougie?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
