weirdly excited for work

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · code BL-1215

Excited to go to work, and suddenly in love with your job. Five drops each of basil and ylang-ylang make an unexpected pair, green and spicy-sweet against rich sweet florals, odd but addictive, while three drops of Roman chamomile add a soft, sweet apple note. You can premix the thirteen drops and use them over a few mornings. Best for morning office hours or kicking off a new project.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use weirdly excited for work in a diffuser?
Add Basil 3 · Ylang Ylang 3 · Roman Chamomile 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of basil?
Swap basil for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use weirdly excited for work?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
