Wednesday is the time to let off a little steam. Mandarin leads, sweet and juicy like it was just peeled, lemongrass slips in a fresh, tangy stream straight from a Vietnamese kitchen, and lavender softens everything with its familiar purple floral note. A compact blend, good for a desk or a medium bedroom. Switch it on as soon as you get home; by the time your shoes are off and you've changed, the scent is waiting.

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
