Blend recipes · Cozy & warm

warm hands, bold spice

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Warm spice · code BL-2757

Cinnamon and sweet orange sit equally, warm spice meeting sweet freshness; eucalyptus follows, cool just enough to keep the scent from feeling heavy. Good for the living room or entryway on cold days. Pairs well with a cup of ginger tea; for more warmth, cut eucalyptus to 2 drops, and in small rooms reduce cinnamon to 3.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use warm hands, bold spice in a diffuser?
Add Cinnamon 3 · Sweet Orange 3 · Eucalyptus 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cinnamon?
Swap cinnamon for coriander or pink pepper — same warm spice family. The blend will shift a little: coriander is warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice.
When is the best time to use warm hands, bold spice?
Made for chilly days, cold rain, Tet (the Lunar New Year) and Christmas; use it in the living room or bedroom.
