up before everyone else

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0946

Early morning, the whole house still asleep, and only you awake. Clary sage, frankincense, sandalwood, and sweet orange share two drops each: warm herbs, clear resin, creamy wood, and a little fresh orange like the first ray of sunlight. Lovely for a kitchen corner or living room while you make the first tea of the day. If you need more alertness, swap sandalwood for rosemary.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use up before everyone else in a diffuser?
Add Clary Sage 2 · Frankincense 2 · Sandalwood 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of clary sage?
Swap clary sage for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use up before everyone else?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
