Food ordered, movie on, nothing else tonight. Seven drops of bergamot open with bright, slightly tea-like orange peel, geranium adds green rose, sweet orange sprinkles in fresh sweetness, and cedarwood lines it with warm dry wood. Perfect for the living room on Friday night. Switch it on before the food arrives, so when you open the boxes, the citrus still keeps the space feeling clean.

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
