On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
