sunny for no reason

4 oils · Citrus · Minty · Woody · code BL-1264

Happy for no reason at all; all it takes is sweet orange in the lead. A juicy fresh orange scent pops up, spearmint adds a touch of sweet coolness, and cedarwood plus a single drop of sandalwood pull everything onto a warm, smooth wood base. Cleaning out your closet on a weekend afternoon with this in the living room makes chores feel fun. For the bedroom at night, skip the spearmint and add 1 drop of sandalwood.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Sweet Orange 4 · Spearmint 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Sandalwood 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Sweet Orange 2 · Spearmint 2 · Cedarwood 1 · Sandalwood 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Sweet Orange 12 · Spearmint 9 · Cedarwood 6 · Sandalwood 3 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use sunny for no reason in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 4 · Spearmint 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Sandalwood 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use sunny for no reason?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
