sun-dried blankets

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-1485

A sunny day, with blankets and pillows airing out on the balcony. Four drops of sweet orange are cheerful, lime and lavender, two drops each, add green tartness and soft purple florals, and a single drop of rosemary brings a herbal note. The scent is as clean as a blanket fresh from the sun, perfect for the bedroom. Switch on the diffuser while putting on fresh sheets, and the room will smell spotless.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use sun-dried blankets in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 4 · Lime 2 · Lavender 2 · Rosemary 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use sun-dried blankets?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
