suddenly wide awake

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-1311

Suddenly feeling fresh and awake, and it turns out it's thanks to lime. Four drops of lime pop up tart and green, sweet orange rounds it out with a juicy orange note, and lavender settles in to soften everything. This blend strikes a clever balance between alert and calm, great for the living room in the late afternoon. For mornings, cut the lavender to 1 drop and let the lime lead.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
