A plate of snails stir-fried in coconut milk, a bowl of dipping sauce and mosquitoes under the table. Citronella opens bold and grassy, lemongrass and peppermint follow in equal parts, fresh-tangy and cool, just like the herbs at a snail stall. Dilute into a mini spray and mist your hems and ankles before you sit down. For a cooler scent, add 1 drop of peppermint.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
