Lime is tart and green, like the lime soda at a tiny street-side drink stall in Vietnam, spearmint is cool and sweet, and basil adds a lightly spicy leaf note that feels very local. Good for the kitchen, a desk, or hanging out with friends at home. For more of a soda feel, add one drop of lime; if the basil gets too loud, cut it back to one drop.

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
