Blend recipes · Fresh air & odor control

soft scent, no showing off

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-2453

A light scent, never showy, simply refined. Lavender makes a soft base, lemon is bright and fresh, and patchouli sets a warm earthy base that helps the scent last without getting heavy. Works for the bedroom, a home office or a small living room. Use 5 drops each time from the ready-mix bottle; if you're not used to patchouli, cut it to 3 drops when mixing.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 4 · Lemon 3 · Patchouli 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Lavender 2 · Lemon 2 · Patchouli 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Lavender 14 · Lemon 10 · Patchouli 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use soft scent, no showing off in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 4 · Lemon 3 · Patchouli 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use soft scent, no showing off?
Use it after cooking or cleaning, in the bathroom, near the shoe cabinet, or in rooms shared with pets.
