slow down, friend

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · Tea · code BL-3210

Light green tea, pomelo and jasmine; warm root keeping a slow rhythm.

Slow down, my friend: green tea, pomelo peel and jasmine float light and clean on top, while warm smilax root keeps a slow, steady rhythm below. Great for the living room, a reading nook or your desk after a meeting. Let the diffuser run, step away from the screen for ten minutes and look out the window; for more florals, add one drop of jasmine.

How it unfolds

On opening. Pomelo (bittersweet and fragrant, very Vietnamese) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Green tea (fresh, a little grassy and clean); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Smilax (warm, earthy and rooty, lightly sweet and rustic) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use slow down, friend in a diffuser?
Add Smilax 2 · Green Tea 2 · Pomelo 2 · Jasmine 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of smilax?
Swap smilax for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use slow down, friend?
Turn it on when your head feels tight: before a meeting, after a long day, or when you need a few minutes to settle.
