shift over, shoulders down

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-3269

Warm grass, pomelo and jasmine; washing away the day's fatigue.

Shift's over, time to let your shoulders go: warm ginger grass leads, pomelo peel is fresh and cool, and a single drop of gentle jasmine helps wash away the whole day's tiredness. Great for the bedroom, the bathroom or the sofa in the evening. Start the diffuser as soon as you get home, take a warm shower and slowly roll your shoulders; add jasmine for a softer scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Pomelo (bittersweet and fragrant, very Vietnamese) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ginger grass (warm and grassy, slightly spicy with a sweet root note); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use shift over, shoulders down in a diffuser?
Add Ginger Grass 3 · Pomelo 2 · Jasmine 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.

Swap ginger grass for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
