sleepiness, be gone

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-1199

Beating back sleepiness without a third cup of coffee. Four drops of lemon open with a bright, fresh tang, lavender and rosemary, three drops each, add gentle calm and sharp green notes, and two drops of blue chamomile bring a mellow herbal sweetness. Great for gray afternoons when your eyes keep drooping. Pair it with an open window and an extra glass of water.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); blue chamomile (deeply herbal, bittersweet and a little smoky) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use sleepiness, be gone in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 3 · Lavender 2 · Rosemary 2 · Blue Chamomile 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use sleepiness, be gone?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
