skipping to class

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-1466

Two drops of cheerful sweet orange, one drop of clary sage with sweet, tea-like herbs, and one drop of jasmine with its sweet white flowers. Just four drops, yet as light as skipping all the way to school. This small blend suits a student's bedroom or a study desk in the morning. Double it for bigger rooms; if the student is sensitive to floral scents, use less jasmine and add sweet orange.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); jasmine (white-floral, sweet, heady and alluring) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use skipping to class in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 2 · Clary Sage 1 · Jasmine 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use skipping to class?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
