scarf on, into town

4 oils · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · Warm spice · code BL-2832

Basil goes first with warm, spicy leaves; cinnamon, eucalyptus and frankincense, a drop each, bring bold spice, airy coolness and resin. Unusual yet warm, like a hand-knitted scarf kept in a wooden cabinet. Good for the living room or entryway on cold days. Start the diffuser when you get home from work; for a gentler version, cut basil to 1 drop.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
