A bag of rice paper salad, the beloved Vietnamese street snack, shared with your best friends. Basil, sweet orange and lime, three drops each, echo the fresh herbs, kumquat and fruit all tossed together, just in scent form; two drops of ylang-ylang add a touch of sweetness. The scent is super fresh and very street food, great for the living room or kitchen. For a tangier version, raise the lime to 4.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
