quiet in the middle of traffic

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0971

Keeping a little stillness in the middle of noisy streets. Seven drops of lemongrass open with a vivid, fresh tang, frankincense and tea tree add warm resin and a clean green streak, and two drops of lavender smooth out the finish. Great for an apartment near a busy road or an office downtown. Tip: start the diffuser when you close the windows, and the space feels cut off from the traffic.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use quiet in the middle of traffic in a diffuser?
Add Lemongrass 4 · Frankincense 2 · Tea Tree 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemongrass?
Swap lemongrass for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use quiet in the middle of traffic?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
