practice tests till late

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Warm spice · code BL-1105

Stunned by a high score, and coriander seed deserves some of the credit. Basil, rosemary, and lavender get three drops each: sweet spice, sharp green, and soft calm, while two drops of coriander add a warm, slightly spicy note like freshly toasted spices. Great for a week of midterm review. If you're not used to the scent of coriander seed, cut it to one drop.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); coriander (warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use practice tests till late in a diffuser?
Add Basil 2 · Rosemary 2 · Lavender 2 · Coriander 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of basil?
Swap basil for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use practice tests till late?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
