cool all the way down

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · code BL-0562

Cool from your nose all the way down, like a freshly poured glass of herbal tea. Three drops of geranium open with leafy green rose, lavender and rosemary add purple flowers and cool green leaf, and a single drop of basil dots in a very fresh, sweet-spicy note. Good for the kitchen at noon or the living room on hot days. Add one more drop of basil if you like a leafier scent, but never more than two.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use cool all the way down in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 3 · Lavender 2 · Rosemary 2 · Basil 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for ylang ylang or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: ylang ylang is rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral.
When is the best time to use cool all the way down?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
