Blend recipes · Easy breathing

parked by the old forest

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · code BL-2228

Park by an old-growth forest, step out, and take a really deep breath. Rosemary leads with a green herbal note, cedarwood lays a dry wood base, lemon brightens, and juniper adds resinous wood. Great for a home office, the living room or the car. If you use a car diffuser, half the recipe is enough to fill the space without overwhelming it.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rosemary 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Lemon 1 · Juniper 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Rosemary 11 · Cedarwood 8 · Lemon 5 · Juniper 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use parked by the old forest in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Lemon 1 · Juniper 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use parked by the old forest?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
