nose unlocked

4 oils · Herbal · Minty · Woody · code BL-2202

Unlock your nose with four green scents. Fresh, resinous pine pops up first, eucalyptus opens clear and cool, and peppermint and tea tree finish with an icy chill and a clean green edge. Morning in a home office is the best time for it. If you use it at night, cut 1 drop of peppermint so it doesn't get in the way of sleep.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Pine 3 · Eucalyptus 2 · Peppermint 1 · Tea Tree 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Pine 2 · Eucalyptus 1 · Peppermint 1 · Tea Tree 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Pine 11 · Eucalyptus 8 · Peppermint 5 · Tea Tree 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use nose unlocked in a diffuser?
Add Pine 3 · Eucalyptus 2 · Peppermint 1 · Tea Tree 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of pine?
Swap pine for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use nose unlocked?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
