Cool but not cold: lemongrass and peppermint open green, sharp and alert, then clary sage and sandalwood pull the scent back toward warmth, far more affectionate. Four oils at five drops each keep it balanced and easy to wear all day. Great in a roller bottle for summer; dilute it very well since peppermint is fairly strong, and avoid applying near your eyes.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
