keep calm, flu season

5 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-2196

Stay calm and collected as flu season passes through. Tea tree leads, green and clean, eucalyptus and lemon balance clear coolness with bright freshness, and rosemary and thyme hold the herbal base. Great for a family living room or the entryway. Turn on the diffuser when you get home from work, while everyone changes, washes up and gets dinner ready.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use keep calm, flu season in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 2 · Eucalyptus 2 · Lemon 2 · Rosemary 1 · Thyme 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for clary sage or basil — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: clary sage is sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried.
When is the best time to use keep calm, flu season?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
