home late from the party

4 oils · Woody · Resinous & sweet · Warm spice · Tea · code BL-3103

Black tea with damp patchouli, sweet vanilla, a pop of pink pepper; evening-sensual.

Home late from a party, the room still holds the night air: black tea, damp earthy patchouli, sweet vanilla and a pop of pink pepper, sensual in an evening way. Great for the bedroom or a dressing room before a party. Switch it on about 20 minutes before you head out and let the scent settle; use less patchouli in a small room.

How it unfolds

On opening. Pink pepper (lightly spicy, sparkling and berry-like) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet); vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Black Tea 3 · Patchouli 2 · Vanilla 1 · Pink Pepper 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Black Tea 2 · Patchouli 1 · Vanilla 1 · Pink Pepper 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Black Tea 13 · Patchouli 9 · Vanilla 4 · Pink Pepper 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use home late from the party in a diffuser?
Add Black Tea 3 · Patchouli 2 · Vanilla 1 · Pink Pepper 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of black tea?
Swap black tea for white tea or green tea — same tea family. The blend will shift a little: white tea is light and clean with a floral whisper.
When is the best time to use home late from the party?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
