Blend recipes · Easy breathing
Cool and tingly like an herbal throat drop. Thyme and peppermint split evenly, one warm and spicy, the other icy cool, making a very familiar scent a bit like the cough drops you had as a kid. Great for your desk, a study room or the car. Thyme is fairly strong; if it feels harsh, cut it to 2 drops and add 1 drop of lemon.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
