heels on all day

3 oils · Citrus · Minty · Woody · code BL-0287

You get home and kick those heels right off. Cypress opens green and woody like a tree canopy, lemongrass adds a fresh tang, and peppermint blows in an icy cool, like dipping your feet in a stream. The scent is invigorating and clean, perfect for the living room or bedroom after a day on your feet. Pair it with a warm foot soak and prop your feet up on a pillow for 10 minutes while the diffuser runs.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Cypress 4 · Lemongrass 3 · Peppermint 3 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cypress 2 · Lemongrass 2 · Peppermint 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cypress 12 · Lemongrass 9 · Peppermint 9 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Skin irritant

Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use heels on all day in a diffuser?
Add Cypress 4 · Lemongrass 3 · Peppermint 3 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cypress?
Swap cypress for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use heels on all day?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
