fresh and a bit extra

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-1544

Nine drops each of ylang-ylang and lime, eight of rosemary: three personalities colliding. Sweet yellow flowers, playful green tartness and alert green herbs, fresh and a little bit over the top. This bottle suits a living room full of friends or a creative workspace. Use 5 drops at a time; to tone down the chaos, use less ylang-ylang.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use fresh and a bit extra in a diffuser?
Add Ylang Ylang 3 · Lime 3 · Rosemary 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of ylang ylang?
Swap ylang ylang for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use fresh and a bit extra?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
