fresh air for the soul

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-2185

Your soul needs some fresh air too. Cedarwood leads with an elegant dry-wood base, pine adds fresh forest, and sweet orange sprinkles on a cheerful, warm note. Great for the living room in the evening, a home office or a reading nook. This is a ready-mix ratio; take 6 drops for the diffuser each time, and add 1 drop of sweet orange for extra cheer.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 4 · Pine 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Cedarwood 15 · Pine 8 · Sweet Orange 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use fresh air for the soul in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 4 · Pine 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use fresh air for the soul?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
