flipping through old photo albums

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0283

Faded old photos, blunt bangs, school uniforms. Lavender opens clean, cedarwood and vanilla share the middle, dry wood like an old bookcase and warm sweetness like grandma's baking, and Roman chamomile closes gently. The scent is nostalgic and warm, perfect for the living room on a weekend evening. Turn on the diffuser, pull out the album and call an old friend.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Vanilla 2 · Roman Chamomile 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use flipping through old photo albums in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Vanilla 2 · Roman Chamomile 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use flipping through old photo albums?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
