Eight drops of coriander lead with a sweet, spicy, warm scent, lemon and neroli, four drops each, add freshness and white flowers, and three drops of ylang-ylang are sweet. The scent is unusual yet classy, great for the living room or a shop. Use 5 to 6 drops at a time from the premixed bottle; if you're new to it, cut the coriander to 5.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Coriander (warm and seedy, lightly sweet, with a whisper of spice); neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
