Da Lat in mid-june

4 oils · Citrus · Minty · Woody · code BL-3181

Cool wood with peppermint and pomelo peel, like fleeing the heat to the mountains.

Da Lat in the middle of June, escaping the heat in the highlands: po mu and cedarwood are cool like a pine forest, peppermint adds a misty breath, and fresh pomelo peel adds accents. Great for the bedroom, the living room on hot days or a wood-heavy apartment. Let the diffuser run alongside a gentle fan; for more cool, add one drop of peppermint.

How it unfolds

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); pomelo (bittersweet and fragrant, very Vietnamese) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Po Mu (sweet, resinous and slightly spicy, a very grounded Vietnamese wood); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Po Mu 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Peppermint 1 · Pomelo 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Po Mu 13 · Cedarwood 9 · Peppermint 4 · Pomelo 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use Da Lat in mid-june in a diffuser?
Add Po Mu 3 · Cedarwood 2 · Peppermint 1 · Pomelo 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Po Mu?
Swap Po Mu for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use Da Lat in mid-june?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
