A glass of ice-cold orange-lemonade in essential oil form. Citronella holds a bold grassy base, while sweet orange, lemon and bergamot form a juicy, sunny citrus cluster. Good for the living room or kitchen on muggy summer afternoons. The 4–5 pm window is ideal; add 1 drop of sweet orange for more sweetness, or 1 drop of bergamot for more elegance.

On opening. Citronella (strong, green and slightly lemony); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); lemon (fresh, bright and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon and Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
