Four main oils in equal parts: cedarwood like campfire logs, crisp lemon eucalyptus, gentle lavender and sharp green rosemary, while lemongrass and lemon add a fresh top note. This is the ready-made bottle for a weekend camping trip. Portion it into small, diluted spray bottles to mist around the tent and folding chairs, and put a few drops on the tent ropes before dark.

On opening. Lemon eucalyptus (green, lemony and cool, a little like lemongrass); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
