Cedarwood builds a solid base of dry, clean wood like a newly built cabinet; lavender, lemongrass and rosemary split the top evenly with soft florals, fresh tang and green herbs. Good for large living rooms and homes with lots of wooden furniture. Turn on the diffuser near the front door right as it gets dark; for a fresher summer version, raise lemongrass to 7 drops.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
