brain on cooling mode

3 oils · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2114

When your brain is running hot like an overworked hard drive, you need a cool breeze. Eucalyptus leads, clear and cool, peppermint sharpens your focus, and basil adds a sweet-spicy herbal note, a bit like freshly picked basil leaves. Great for intense work hours, writing or planning. Run the diffuser for 20 minutes, then stand up and have a good stretch.

How it unfolds

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Eucalyptus 4 · Peppermint 3 · Basil 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Eucalyptus 13 · Peppermint 10 · Basil 7 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use brain on cooling mode in a diffuser?
Add Eucalyptus 4 · Peppermint 3 · Basil 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of eucalyptus?
Swap eucalyptus for rosemary or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use brain on cooling mode?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
