Blend recipes · Fresh air & odor control
Bags of greens, fish and meat hit the counter and the kitchen starts smelling like the wet market. Spearmint opens cool and sweet like freshly crushed leaves, then lavender and bergamot soften the air into something tidy rather than harsh. Run the diffuser while you prep and pack things into the fridge. For a fresher take, swap 1 drop of lavender for 1 drop of bergamot.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
