Juniper and lavender split it evenly at six drops each, a pairing of dry conifer and soft purple florals; four drops of lemon throw open a window to let the light pour in. This blend is pleasant, cheerful without being noisy, great for running in the living room from morning to afternoon. If you keep using it into the evening, drop the lemon and keep the other two, and the room shifts into relaxation mode.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
