5-minute recharge

2 oils · Citrus · Minty · code BL-1172

Five minutes to recharge, short but enough. Two drops of sweet orange open fresh and cheerful like just-peeled orange rind, and a single drop of peppermint adds a cool streak. A super compact blend for a desk, a parked car during a break, or a handheld lava stone diffuser. Close your eyes, take ten deep breaths, and then get back to work feeling refreshed.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Sweet Orange 2 · Peppermint 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Sweet Orange 3 · Peppermint 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Sweet Orange 20 · Peppermint 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use 5-minute recharge in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 2 · Peppermint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use 5-minute recharge?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
