Cyperus rotundus is a tropical weed considered one of the world's most difficult invasive species. Grows throughout Vietnam.
In Vietnam, where the plant is called 'co gau' or 'cu gau', the rhizomes are used in traditional medicine for gynecological and digestive remedies.
