Geranyl linalool is a long-chain diterpenoid alcohol occurring substantially in jasmine absolute.

Skin. A 1 percent patch test on 29 volunteers produced neither irritation nor sensitization. Undiluted material was irritating to rabbit skin.

Oral and dermal. Acute oral LD50 in rats exceeds 5 g/kg, in mice 14.6 g/kg. Acute dermal LD50 in rabbits exceeds 5 g/kg.

Inhalation. Saturated vapor exposure for 7 hours caused no deaths in 12 rats.
