Cuminyl alcohol is the alcohol form of cuminaldehyde.

Skin. Undiluted application caused moderate irritation to rabbit skin under 24-hour occlusion. A 4 percent patch test on 24 volunteers caused no irritation or sensitization.

Oral and dermal. Acute oral LD50 in rats is 1.02 g/kg; rabbit dermal LD50 is 2.5 g/kg.

Limited data but no specific risk indicated at practical use levels.
