The classic winter duo: cheerful sweet orange makes up two-thirds, with warm, spicy cinnamon underneath. Easy to love, easy to use, good for the living room, kitchen or bedroom on cold days. Mix a bottle ahead and take 5 drops for the diffuser each time; cinnamon is fairly strong, so scent-sensitive folks can switch the ratio to 12 sweet orange and 3 cinnamon.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
