weekend man cave

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Woody · code BL-1891

Your weekend hideout needs its own scent: fennel, sweet and aromatic like spices on the kitchen shelf, bergamot, fresh and cool, and cedarwood, dry and warm like your favorite wooden chair. Relaxed and fuss-free, it suits a craft room, watching soccer or gaming. Premix the twenty drops; use 5 drops in the diffuser, and add more cedarwood if you want it deeper.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Fennel 4 · Bergamot 2 · Cedarwood 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use weekend man cave in a diffuser?
Add Fennel 4 · Bergamot 2 · Cedarwood 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of fennel?
Swap fennel for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use weekend man cave?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
