back from the forest

4 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-3166

Wet green leaves mingled with po mu wood, like a jacket after a trek.

Like a jacket just hung up after a trek: wet green lemon leaf opens, po mu and cedarwood share the base equally, and bergamot adds a touch of brightness. Rustic, clean and full of character. Great for the closet, a wood-toned office or the car. Run the diffuser for about 20 minutes, or put a drop on a wooden coat hanger.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon leaf (green, slightly bitter and very fresh); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Po Mu (sweet, resinous and slightly spicy, a very grounded Vietnamese wood); cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Lemon Leaf 2 · Po Mu 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Bergamot 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Lemon Leaf 9 · Po Mu 9 · Cedarwood 9 · Bergamot 4 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use back from the forest in a diffuser?
Add Lemon Leaf 2 · Po Mu 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Bergamot 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon leaf?
Swap lemon leaf for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use back from the forest?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
