unwinding over a teapot

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Resinous & sweet · Tea · code BL-3090

Black tea, lightly rosy palmarosa, sweet orange and vanilla; instant unwind.

Letting off steam over a pot of tea: strong black tea, palmarosa with a light rosy scent, cheerful sweet orange, and warm, sweet vanilla at the end. Great for the living room on weekend afternoons, a small tea table or the bedroom early in the evening. Switch it on when you put the kettle on; add a drop of vanilla for more sweetness, or sweet orange for more freshness.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Black tea (steeped, warm and slightly malty); palmarosa (sweet and grassy with a rosy note) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Vanilla (creamy, sweet and cozy) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use unwinding over a teapot in a diffuser?
Add Black Tea 3 · Palmarosa 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Vanilla 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of black tea?
Swap black tea for white tea or green tea — same tea family. The blend will shift a little: white tea is light and clean with a floral whisper.
When is the best time to use unwinding over a teapot?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
